Six die after inhaling toxic fumes of coal braziers in 2 separate incidents in Delhi

Six people, including four members of a family, died allegedly after inhaling toxic fumes from coal braziers in two separate incidents in the national capital. Two children were among the four killed in the incident in Alipur area in outer north Delhi. Another incident occurred in Inderpuri area of west Delhi, where two Nepal-native men were found dead after inhaling toxic fumes.

Southern US storm ushering in frigid air, ice and snow could halt travel

A dramatic southward push of Arctic air into the eastern two thirds of the country this week will result in bitterly cold conditions with temperatures trending 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit below typical mid-January values.
