A spinoff of the Australian sensation Miss Fisher s Murder Mysteries, the swinging 1960s crime series follows the fearless and spirited Peregrine Fisher (Logie Award-nominated Geraldine Hakewill, Wanted), the niece of world-class adventuress and private detective Phryne Fisher, as she inherits a windfall from her famous aunt and sets out to become an exceptional sleuth in her own right.

Elisa Viihde Commissions Finnish Drama The Man Who Died
Elisa Viihde has commissioned the new original series
The Man Who Died, based on the best-selling book of the same title by Antti Tuomainen.
Jussi Vatanen will star in the six-episode series, which will be available to audiences via Elisa Viihde Viaplay in fall 2022. The series follows the storyline of the book, which tells of a mushroom entrepreneur, Jaakko Kaunismaa (Vatanen) from Hamina, who discovers he has been slowly poisoned and sets out to find his would-be murderer.

Saloon, StoryFirst set off on Ghost Walk
Blue Ant Media-owned Canadian specialty TV channel T+E is backing a new drama coproduction from the company’s Canadian prodco Saloon Media and London-based producer and financer StoryFirst.

Titled Ghost Walk, the 8×60’ series follows a vivacious, aspiring Canadian actress and prickly British scientist who together become unlikely paranormal investigators, travelling from the historic English city of York to rural Canada to hunt ghosts.
The series has been created by Brendan Foley (Cold Courage), who also serves as showrunner, with Saloon Media’s Melissa Williamson and Michael Kot and StoryFirst’s Dominic Barlow executive producing.
