The Rotary Club of Athens has named its February Students of the Month which include Alessa Mendoza, Braxton Knight, Addison Maytubby, Sammie Sams, and Thaily Ordonez Ramos.
Avon Lake High School junior Ava Molina, 17, is one of 72,000 students from across the country who earned academic honors from College Board’s National Recognition Programs. She received a National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA), according to a release from Avon Lake Schools.
The audience expressed elation for 11 high school students achievements with the College Board National Recognition Programs during the December El Dorado School Board meeting Monday.
