Colorado’s snowpack sat at 100% of median Friday after this week’s snowstorm and ahead of another storm that will bring snow to the state on Monday, though forecast models are still showing wide variations in how much snow will fall.
A snowstorm will drop between 4 and 8 inches of snow around the Denver metro area and up to a foot in the foothills starting Wednesday afternoon, meaning the evening commute will likely stay slow on the slick roads.
A snowstorm has hit the Denver metro area and Front Range, and will gain intensity throughout the evening and early Wednesday before starting to taper by sunset.
A Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Watch will cover much of the Front Range and eastern plains starting Monday evening due to a snowstorm that could make travel hazardous across the region.
