Steelers, Colts put their playoff hopes on the line in a pivotal AFC matchup

Pittsburgh has won all five playoff games, the first two when the Colts were in Baltimore, and the Steelers have won three AFC titles after postseason wins over the Colts. The most memorable matchups came in the AFC championship game following the 1995 season and in January 2006, the year coach Bill Cowher won his Super Bowl title. The Colts, Steelers and Browns were the three teams that moved from the NFL to the AFC as part of the 1970 merger.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could be without star outside linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith as they prepare for a pivotal visit to Indianapolis. Bengals hope to stay in playoff race behind backup QB Jake Browning

With a 34-14 thumping of the Colts on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals climbed above the .500 mark for the first time in a month. The 27-year-old Browning was a superstar in high school in California and threw for 12,296 yards and 94 touchdowns at the University of Washington but hadn't gotten much traction in the NFL. Browning is taking advantage of the opportunity.
