after the house speaker kevin mccarthy met with taiwan s president in california. house foreign affairs chair michael mccall leading the delegation in taiwan, warning that china better think twice before launching or even considering launching an invasion. so being here i think sends a signal to the chinese communist party that the united states supports taiwan, we re going to harden taiwan, and want them to think twice about invading taiwan. our correspondent there has traveled to taipei, taiwan, with the delegation, beating them there along the way. what are they saying to you today? hello. good morning to you both. look, things are getting very seserious around the island rigt now after two public shows of support from congress. this is angering china. we have learned now that there are three chinese ships that have encircled taiwan, and on top of that the chinese have announced that they will stop and inspect any ships in the taiwan strait for the next three days. t
cosponsors on the bill. we believe it will move through the house and senate quickly. our hope at the organization that s sponsored all of this to make this possible is we hope that this will spark a broader discussion, that we need to start addressing the injuries, the moral injuries, that our female veterans are facing. this will impact 300 women. this will give them a combat identifier, for them to be able to go into the va and write their own narrative. our question at the special operations community, association of america, is asking what about the other veterans? what about the other women who are not being able to receive that access to healthcare and that treatment that they deserve? that may not fall under the jax s act. hopefully this will continue the conversation that we need. thank you for coming on, explaining that to us. it s an important issue. we re glad to give it attention. let s stay in touch, see if we can get it done. thank you very much. back to the street
