MANAMA — The Public Health Directorate at Bahrain's health ministry has announced the closure of one restaurant for one week for its failure to comply with the precautionary measures to combat COVID-19.
During 99 inspection visits carried out by the inspectors of the health ministry, in coordination with the interior ministry and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), to 99 restaurants and cafés across Bahrain, 13 restaurants were found in violation of precautionary measures and were referred to the competent authorities.

MANAMA — Bahrain's Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has decided to limit access to mosques for the five daily prayers and Friday prayer for worshipers who have spent 14 days after taking the second dose of a coronavirus vaccine and those who have recovered from the virus, the Bahrain News Agency reported on Thursday.

MANAMA — Three mosques in Bahrain were shut down temporarily for failure to comply with COVID-19 health regulations concerning Eid Al-Fitr prayer, the Bahrain News Agency reported on Saturday.
According to the BNA report, Bahrain's Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in coordination with the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19), decided to close the mosques for two weeks to enable the competent teams to track infections, carry out the disinfection operation and ascertain proper compliance and implementation of the precautionary procedures.

DUBAI, May 13 (Reuters) - Oman will end a nightly curfew on Saturday designed to curb the spread of COVID-19, but shops and commercial activities will be banned from 8pm until 4am, the Supreme Committee for Combating Coronavirus said.
The Gulf state had banned the movement of people and vehicles between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m. on May 8 and also banned commercial activity during the day, which will be permitted.
