Comedian Chris D'Elia is bringing his latest nationwide tour to Boston. The star of three Netflix comedy specials will perform live the Boch Center Wang Theatre, Saturday, November 12, 2022. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 6 at bochcenter.org.
His latest accuser, who is now 24, says she began communicating with the comedian in September 2014 after sending him a photo of herself holding a giant teddy bear and laughing — a message intended as a joke. He allegedly responded immediately and soon began requesting nude photos.
D'Elia also invited the girl to his show at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut on Nov. 7, 2014. There, he "exploited his own fame and status and Mrs. Doe's youth and inexperience" to have sex with her, the suit claims. D'Elia was 34 at the time of the alleged incident.
D'Elia continued soliciting sexually explicit photos and videos until the girl broke off contact in 2015, the suit alleges.
Afterward, the suit alleges that D’Elia continued to pressure her to send explicit photos. The suit also states that Chris D’Elia would emotionally manipulate her, showering her with attention when she complied, but threatening to cut her off if she refused.
The suit accuses D’Elia of violating federal child pornography and child s*xual exploitation statutes.
Chris D’Elia was first accused of seeking explicit photos from teenagers last June, after he appeared in the second season of “You” on Netflix. On the show, he portrayed a comedian who sexually abuses teenage girls.
At the time, D’Elia said he “never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point.” But he also apologized for anything he may have done to give offense, saying he had let himself get caught up in his own lifestyle.

Comedian Chris D’Elia is facing a new lawsuit that accuses him of violating federal child pornography and child sexual exploitation laws, including soliciting more than 100 sexually explicit photos and videos from a woman identified as “Jane Doe.”
Half of the photos and videos were allegedly taken when Doe was 17 years old, according to the lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in federal district court for the Central District of California and reviewed by The Times. Doe had reached out to D’Elia in September 2014 via Instagram, never expecting a reply. The comic was on his “Under No Influence” tour at the time. They later communicated via Snapchat, the suit alleges.
