Adam Sandler Finally Returns To IHOP After Being Turned Away
✖
Buckle up, this requires more context than most Adam Sandler movies. At the end of April a TikTok went viral showing the movie star and comedian trying to get a table at an IHOP. After being told there would be a half hour wait, Sandler and his family left, but the hostess realized later that the man behind the mask who turned and walked out was the Hubie Halloween star until it was too late. The story has a happy update though as Sandler and Dayanna Rodas, who caused the story to go viral through her TikTok video, met up earlier this week when Sandler returned to the restaurant.
Happy Gilmore star finally got his IHOP fill!
On Monday (May 10), the actor reunited with Dayanna Rodas the hostess who sent him packing originally for the breakfast chain s Milkshake Mondays promotional event.
In a video posted to Rodas TikTok, Sandler can be seen wearing an IHOP-branded face mask and flashing a peace sign with his arm around the hostess, the pair of them surrounded by tables of milkshakes. Couldn’t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler! Rodas captioned the slideshow of pictures, which is set to American Authors 2013 hit Best Day of My Life.

Last month a IHOP hostess posted a video of her turning away Adam Sandler, telling him it would be a 30 min wait. She didn t realized it was the famous actor until after she saw the security footage.
In response to the viral video Sandler tweeted out:
In response to that IHOP decided to host a Milkshake Monday, with all of IHOP s 19 Long Island locations on Monday, the company also said it would donate $1 (up to $50,000) to the organization Comedy Gives Back for every milkshake purchased across the country on May 10.

You CAN have all-you-can-drink milkshakes at IHOP and it s all thanks to Adam Sandler.
IHOP has declared Monday, May 10, 2021 Milkshake Monday, with all-you-can-drink milkshakes in honor of Sandler, who left a Long Island IHOP after he was told he d have to wait for 30 minutes for a table and it went viral. He later tweeted he left because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn t apply to milkshakes.
Today it does.
IHOP accepted the challenge, twetting Sure, we didn t recognize a famous comedian recently, but we surely can t ignore his request.
