Williamsport, Pa. — Patrons of the Lycoming County Library System can now enjoy access to comics, graphic novels, and manga through an online platform called Comics Plus.

Local comic book stores, including Comics Plus of Macon and Fanboy Collectibles and Comics, are gearing up to celebrate Free Comic Book Day on the first Saturday in May, offering free comics and special sales to fans of all ages.

Free Comic Book Day is meant to promote comics and literacy in people of all ages. Both Fanboy Comics and Collectible and Comics Plus of Macon have events.
