Michael Collins, an Apollo 11 astronaut, has died age 90, his family confirmed. He was one of the three crew members of the first manned mission to land on the Moon.
Michael Collins’ family shared the news online in a statement. They said:
“We will miss his terribly. Yet we also know how lucky Mike felt to have lived the life he did. We will honor his wish for us to celebrate, not mourn, that life.”
