Aditya L1 successfully undergoes third earth-bound manoeuvre: ISRO

The first and second earth-bound manoeuvres were successfully performed on September 3 and 5, respectively. The spacecraft will undergo one more earth-bound orbital manoeuvre before it is placed in the transfer orbit towards the Lagrange point L1.

Indias Aditya L1 spacecraft, the countrys first space-based mission to study the Sun, has successfully completed its third earth-bound manoeuvre. The ISRO carried out the operation, with ground stations in Mauritius, Bengaluru, SDSC-SHAR, and Port Blair tracking the satellite. The spacecraft is scheduled to undergo one more earth-bound manoeuvre before being placed in the transfer orbit towards the Lagrange point L1.
