Victoria Dandaura, the wife of the Commander of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Apollos Dan-Daura who was abducted by terrorists has been rescued by security operatives. This is contained in a statement by NSCDC spokesman Olusola Odumosu, in Abuja. Odumosu said that the kidnap victim was rescued on Friday at about 9:20pm somewhere in the Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The wife of the Commander of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Apollos Dan-Daura has been abducted by terrorists.       Dan-Daura’s wife was abducted in the Shege area of Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Wednesday.   The commander’s younger brother who was present during the abduction was also said to have been shot.   The abductors have yet to make contact with the family to demand a ransom.
