On Sunday, in the morning, at Botanical Gardens, Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Morning Tea, and the Governor addressed guests.
Following, at Royal Australian Airforce Base, Amberley, Her Excellency was represented by Commander Peter Tedman DSM OAM RAN ADC(Hon) at the Australian Flying Corps and Royal Australian Air Force Association Queensland Division Bomber Command Commemorative Service (BCCS) for 2022, and Commander Tedman laid the first wreath.
In the afternoon, at St John's Cathedral, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a service held by the Victoria League Brisbane for Commonwealth Friendship to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen, and the Governor delivered the first reading.

On Saturday, in the morning, at the Shrine of Remembrance, Anzac Square, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Commander Peter Tedman DSM OAM at the Returned and Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch) 2021 Indigenous Veterans’ Ceremony, and laid the first wreath.
