White teachers are permitted to be discriminated against in a Minneapolis school district, according to a new contract between Minneapolis’s public schools and teachers union. The contract stipulates that the district’s teachers who are not white will be prioritized in case of layoffs. Previously, such decisions were made based on seniority, but this new contract allows that procedure to be ignored.

Democrats seem hellbent on reforming the marijuana industry. Yet their changes could have devastating long-term consequences. They seem determined to turn the United States into Amsterdam. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) introduced the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act last month. Its the latest political maneuver to legalize marijuana in the country.
