Signature did not meet the threshold required by the board of supervisors and the City Ordinance and we probably depending on how things go today well see the ultimate outcome, but we did file the appeal. Under the influence. A lot of people think its about driving, but its speed. 60 percent of the injuries occur in intersection. Our public needs to be aware of this. Too often people are not yielding to oncoming pedestrians. We need a shift that will require everyone to Pay Attention to the streets. Memoriam which i am cosponsoring with Kim Bobby Baker who passed away. She was born in memphis tennessee and overcame many challenges before moving to San Francisco area in 1992. She served as the west coast regional ministries and lay minister and transgender minorities. Her friends admired her ability for adversity. With 20 pedestrian deaths recording in San Francisco. We have seen an unprecedented number of accidents along with enforcement and better infrastructure education is a need to prevent these injuries. Im hoping to get started the education piece within the next month or so. In district seven we wanted to do some pilot program.
