First, strengthen competition, and advance innovation. At the top of that list is the agencys vote last month that will make it easier for consumers to buy a settop box or an app from someone other than their cable company. Is Technology Neutral proposal means that any company will be able to manufacture a settop box or design an app and sell it to consumers. Should a consumer wish to continue renting their settop box from their paytv provider, they can. No one is going to take it away from them. I dont know if theres that much of a love affair with a settop box i that if they wantt they can keep it. Very importantly the fccs proposal is an opportunity to enhance access to independent and minority programming giving consumers the ability to choose between settop boxes or apps with improved search functionality and user interfaces. We look at some data of 82 corrections in 2012 and 13 and we pulled a small case sample 46 cases. 35 of those cases, those folks were in fact alive but what . 35 of the 45 pieces we looked at. Well, first of all, thank you for having me here on this show, and thank you also to cspan for the great Public Service work that you do and have done for decades. Issues before the fcc, we have a lot of them. Issues are diverse because in many ways the fcc oversees the digital economy, the information economy which by some measures accounts for as much as onesixth of the economy itself. I think there are a few things we have going on of particular interest though. One of those is wireless communications. And you can look around at the proliferation of phones, and thats probably no surprise be that its an area of real interest. But with you also have to consider some of the numbers.
