Cape May County officials announced the birth of a zebra foal Wednesday, saying she was born just in time for Earth Day on April 22 to zebras Lydia and Ziggy. There are now six zebras at the zoo.
The Cape May County Park & Zoo received a $10,000 donation Friday, officials announced in a news release. The donation came from local electrical contractor Anthony Anzelone, who presented the check to County Commissioner Director Len Desiderio, Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski and Parks Director Edward Runyon to support future capital improvements at the zoo and park.
