The Mount Carmel City Council held their 2nd March session on Monday. Everyone was present with the exception to Commissioner Dulgar, who joined over Zoom. The board received an update from the Kiwanis Club. The Club mentioned the idea of having a circus for 4 shows April 22nd and 23rd in town instead of just 2 shows on April 22nd. The board was the presentation from Keystone via zoom on a Solar Project for the Wastewater Project Plant. Keystone mentioned during the project that if approved, the city would be responsible for purchasing the electricity at a discounted rate from solar installed by Keystone and not the upfront cost of installing the panels. The city would also have buyout options in 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 of the agreement. Ron Peach appeared before the board in reference to river lot rental for $100 per lot. Peach says that he has owned and maintained property near the river for over 30 years and expressed interest in purchasing the lots from the property. He mentioned he
