CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) â The Harrison County Commission on Wednesday will discuss a property agreement for a medical cannabis facility, the upcoming appointment of a new county clerk and appointments to boards in what is expected to be a short meeting before the New Year.
Last month, the Harrison County Development Authority approved a site development agreement with Harvest Care Medical LLC that would allow for the transfer of property near the North Central West Virginia Airport in exchange for development work at the site of the companyâs planned state-of-the-art medical cannabis and processing plant.
Under the agreement approved by the Development Authority, Harvest Care Medical will perform site development work, including demolition of an old house, installation of utilities and construction of an access road at a price tag of around $8-10 million, Harrison County Commissioner David Hinkle has said.
