Bennett Springs firearm incident – arrest Gang Crime Squad detectives have charged two men who are linked to the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) as a result of their investigation into an incident in Bennett Springs where shots were fired at a home on 28 April 2021.
It is alleged about 11.40pm, several shots were fired at a home on Driftwood Way with several striking the home. No-one was injured.
Gang Crime Squad detectives with the assistance of Midland Detectives executed multiple search warrants on 30 April 2021 at homes in Bentley, Bateman and Middle Swan. Detectives seized a .44 calibre revolver.
A 31-year-old man from Middle Swan (nominee) is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 21 May 2021 charged with Aggravated Burglary and Commit Offence; and Criminal Damage.

Police charge man with multiple stealing incident
Mirrabooka Detectives have charged a 48-year-old man as a result of their investigation into his activities.
It is alleged the man was involved in burglary incidents across the Cannington, Midland, Joondalup and Mirrabooka Police Districts during March 2021.
The alleged incidents he was involved in are:-
22 March 2021 Steal a vehicle – Cannington;
22 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Alexander Heights;
22 March 2021 Steal TVs from electrical store – Malaga;
27 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Stirling;
29 March 2021 Steal two Drones – Balcatta;
31 March 2021 Steal fuel – Alexander Heights; and
31 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Westminster

Police arrested two youths following a Tuesday evening assault in which a replica firearm was fired multiple times.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were dispatched to the area of Connolly and McLaughlin Streets at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 following reports of a weapons call in progress.
When police arrived they learned a victim, a male in his 30s, was walking home from a nearby coffee shop when two youths began following him.
