Almost half roughly 9 or more of the population is hispanics. In states like connecticut, hawaii, georges georgia ver 10 is hispanic. Not all of them are registered or eligible to register but over time the percentage of those hispanic descent who can vote will increase. I think getting to the heart of what the panel is about is to what extent do the panels vote in ways that further the nterest related to the origin . I would argue you have roughly a third of hispanics in the United States that were born in latin america. Ted cruz was born in canada. Increasingly the individuals are very interested in seeing the u. S. Policy reflect nterest. On the Development Front and ecurity front, which hopefully we will get it to. Get into. I think increasingly issues elating to hispanics linked to the country of origin will become more and more important. Government do things with respect to security, peace process, sinai, and other issues of national consequence to us. On the middle east peace saudi arabia has been a critical partner. Just yesterday we reaffirmed the saudi commitment, the saudi commitment to its own initiative a very Significant Initiative and i praised prince sauds description of the, of his vision and the saudi vision for the peace that waits for israel providing we can move the process which they are committed to and very much a part of that we can move that forward. They are a partner in that effort through their role in the arab league as well as their authorship of the arab peace initiative. In addition we both share, saudi arabia and the United States share with almost every other country in the region deep concern about Irans Nuclear program. And its impact on the region.
