Ability is clear potency which means that it can become any cell in the body as well. Our lab was interested in factors that we maintained these two important abilities in the cells. Understanding how such a small part of these specific cells have developed and understanding of how stem cells work will aid our efforts in learning to manipulate stem cells to contribute towards development of regenerative medicine.
