Dispute over proposed warehouse complex in Swatara Township could take years: attorney

Dispute over proposed warehouse complex in Swatara Township could take years: attorney Updated Mar 15, 2021; Depending on the Commonwealth Court’s decision about a proposed warehouse zoning matter in Swatara Township, it could take up to two years before the situation is settled, according to the township’s solicitor. Commissioners on Feb. 25 voted 3-to-2 to appeal Dauphin County Judge John F. Cherry’s decision that reversed the board’s unanimous 5-0 vote from a year before that denied Mushroom Hill, LLC, a conditional use permit. The permit is needed to move forward to construct a 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse complex in the township.
