As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, and the quality of education of thousands of school-age children continues to be affected, many corporate citizens are stepping up to challenge of ensuring no child is left behind with their donations of computer equipment and related technology, to facilitate online learning.
A recent recipient of such a donation from a corporate partner, IGT Trinidad and Tobago, is Amica House, a safe haven for socially displaced children, especially vulnerable girls, located in Curepe. The centre has been helping vulnerable youth and providing with a home for 19 years. Currently, 20 children are in residence at Amica House.
