Fort Smith Times Record Ervin Eduardo Nafate Ruiz, 24, was named as the suspect after investigation. He has been arrested on a warrant of first-degree murder. Ruiz was apprehended by the Poteau Police Department after the FSPD Communications Unit disseminated his information to other area law enforcement agencies.
