DIPHU With an aim to promote Community Base Tourism (CBT) and Community Conserve Area (CCA) in Karbi Anglong, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Tourism Department of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) organised a joint meeting at KAAC auditorium on Monday. At the meeting, the two parties discussed how they can work together in promoting rural tourism and sustainable development in local areas, raising local entrepreneurs and conservation of wildlife and nature through CCA and CBT projects. Executive Member (EM), KAAC, Tourism and Water Resources, Ritesh Enghi said that the areas for executing the projects have been selected at Kangthilangso, Singhason, Jongpha and Chapong.
