Somewhere . Oh, its there. All right. Cool. Okay. My names paul mcgavin and complete my statement from before. Clerk sir, ill just correct you, were not talking about the report. Correct. T it was quietly changed in response to some successful appeals of close proximity microwave and Telephone Facility locations that are being three things, placed, constructed, and modified, just those three, on the streets of San Francisco, and what happened . We had a 1400page appeal that outlined all of the things verizon was doing wrong. They pulled the application at 2298 pacific avenue. Anyone can read that on mystreetmychoice. Com. Essentially, they wiped out the appeal process. We need the city and county of San Francisco to put in regulations that are essentially seat belts and speed bags to keep them from putting a tower 12 feet from a childs bedroom. There is much more to be said. I think i have 30 seconds left. Cut me off when you can. We need a hard equipment enforceable level from the rad
I personally love the mega jobs. I think theyre a lot of fun. I like being part of a build that is bigger than myself and outlast me and make a mark on a landscape or industry. We do a lot of the big sexy jobs, the stacked towers, Transit Center, a lot of the note worthy projects. Im Second Generation construction. My dad was in it and for me it just felt right. I was about 16 when i first started drafting home plans for people and working my way through college. In college i became a project engineer on the job, replacing others who were there previously and took over for them. The Transit Center project is about a million square feet. The entire floor is for commuter buses to come in and drop off, there will be five and a half acre city park accessible to everyone. It has an amputheater and water marsh that will filter it through to use it for landscaping. Bay area council is big here in the area, and they have a gender equity group. I love going to the workshops. Its where i met jes
Chius ab 42, capping rents statewide. It expands the protections that San Francisco has in place by extending just cause protections to buildings built between 1979 and 2004. The bill exempts buildings constructed within the last 15 years, so what im introducing today is a proposal that is very simple. Expand just cause protections to all buildings in the private market, regardless of when it was built. No one should have to live in fa fear of an arbitrary eviction. It is a critical component necessary to keep San Francisco residents housed. The history, culture and residents of our city suffer when they are evicted, forcing them to move from home to home. I look forward to working with all of you to expand these protections for renters, and i want to thank the Tenants Union and Assembly Member chiu for paving the way. The rest i submit. Clerk thank you, supervisor. Supervisor mandelman . Thank you. Supervisor mar . Supervisor mar thank you, madam clerk. Colleagues, im introducing two
