Let me tell you, this centre is long overdue in the Omi Community. [cheers and applause] i want to start by thanking supervisor safaye, who is really, i think the best supervisor district 11 has ever had. Let me tell you, because of his work and advocacy, we are bringing more resources than ever to this community. We saved 21 units just on Mission Street where low income families were facing eviction. He took the leadership, we purchased that property and protected those units for generations to...

Projects, negotiated the ability to go up to one for one parking. This is far less than one for one. We added about 30 plus i think it is 39 spaces for over 137 units. The idea is that some of these families will have cars, that is a reality, and rather than impact the immediate neighborhood, well have them have this option. So all of those things together added to the cost, the time, the construction cost, the construction type, the size of the project, so we so excited about this. Weve gotten ...

Are trying to get people out of the hall of justice. Can you talk to that . I was just made aware of that fact myself very recently. We are in discussions with the Police Department to see if we can rectify the situation. It is not, unfortunately, uncommon for city departments to take over a vacated space. As soon as one unit moves out, before i can move another unit in, someone will take squat the space. I think this is a different situation. I think we are trying to get everyone out of the bui...

Kevin stall, and a rider of the bus line. And a major advocate for Pedestrian Safety and a lot of the changes here will help improve the corridor a lot. One of the major thoroughfares south of market with a lot of people walk, ride their bikes, drive, and take muni down this street. And with the number of people who are going to be moving into the neighborhood with the new projects, the potential of having a lot of families with children and possibly seniors and maybe people who are disabled who...

Legislative report. That report was released today and im requesting a hearing on the report so we can better understand the citys use of these conservatorships. Contributed to a decrease in the total l. D. S. Conservative caseload. Interestingly, that caseload has increased somewhat over the last year. Now one of the perhaps surprising things i learned from this report is San Francisco is conserving gravely disabled people at an alarming average and is ranked ninth among counties in its per cap...

That is really exciting that people actually want to do this in their homes. We know that we have heard multi generational. Seniors love these adus because they are groundfloor. It creates an Affordable Housing unit. I have more adus in my district. Whats amazing, and i do appreciate you adding this small property owners, to with these fee waivers. They are so much more less expensive. We look at rents in the city, for one bedrooms almost 3,700 per month. Not many people can afford that. The adu...

Impact 100 Affordable Housing project. While the amounts say per project, is much smaller for adus, amounting to a few percent and have a total of a total project, roughly around 3200 on average for most of the small adus. Our hope is that this just stands, bringing Public Awareness to build adus and bring more Property Owners interested in building adus to do that this year, rather than waiting. I am really excited, supervisor mar, that you had your adu workshop and people came out, 150 people,...
