NCNow photo BY CHERYL SHUMWAY North Country This Week CANTON – The Canton community pulled together, even in this year’s pandemic, to bring joy to area families in need this holiday, say organizers of the Giving Tree. “People have really stepped up and donated money to buy vouchers for Church and Community Giving Tree participants, instead of purchasing gifts from Giving Trees tags in previous years,” said Giving Tree Co-Director Fran Bailey.
