Jewish community holds antisemitism rally in West Bloomfield, calls for unity Nour Rahal, Detroit Free Press © Kirthmon F. Dozier, Detroit Free Press A couple hundred community members gathered two protest against anti-semitism along Orchard Lake road Sunday, June 6, 2021, in West Bloomfield. Jewish organizations, community members and allies came together to rally against an increase in antisemitism during the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian crisis.  The Sunday event, Stand Up To Antisemitism, was hosted by the Jewish Community Relations Council/American Jewish Committee or JCRC/AJC, the Zionist Organization of America - Michigan, the Anti-Defamation League-Michigan, Hadassah and the National Council of Jewish Women - Michigan.
