NORWALK The local NAACP chapter is calling for action after a Norwalk Public School teacher shared an “All Lives Matter” meme on Facebook earlier this month, the group and school officials said.
The image showed two images of actor John Krasinski, playing Jim Halpert in “The Office,” pointing at a whiteboard, a common meme format.
In the top image, the whiteboard read, “Lives Matter.” In the second half of the image, the whiteboard reads, “If you need a color in front of those words, you’re a racist.” The teacher added an emoji of a shrugging woman with her arms raised to the image.
