Maybe you know it, but you were a great mentor and i never [inaudible] the path im on in my career you were a big part of getting me on it. [inaudible] really motivated by and fighting against poverty is a main one and that is your history of where you came from. I will never forget august 22, 1996 is the the day [inaudible] created a system that was about punishment and getting people to go to work than aiding kids. You helped to focus me on how to [inaudible] help to change them and your work as a organizationer was a inspiration. I give you a lot of works and skills. I would want be successful without it. Thank you for all you work in San Francisco. You helped me and so many leaders around the city and have organiza

Hello, everyone. Thank you for joining me on this fourth of july. Im fredricka whitfield. We begin this Independence Day with another huge spike in the number of coronavirus cases. Today, florida reported its highest case count to date. More than 11,000 new infections in a single day. That number far surpass anything other state right now. And despite that, many beaches there remain open this holiday weekend. In texas, icu beds in at least two counties are reaching capacity. At least two severely ill patients were forced to be flown to other cities. New cases are surging across the country once again topping 50,000 for the Third Straight day. Its a trend thats been growing in recent weeks. And right now, 37 states are reporting an increase in infections, but in the midst of the climbing case count, President Trump held a campaignstyle rally last night in the shadow of mt. Rushmore where there was no social distancing being enforced and not many people were Wearing Masks. Much more on w
