The federal Program Designed to help the longterm unemployed has expired and anyone who has been collecting unemployment for more than 26 weeks will be affected. California now has the highest number of people in that category, 220,000. Nevada, illinois, pennsylvania, connecticut, new york, new jersey, and massachusetts, also have much higher than average numbers of people out of work for that long. That is clearly not what this country should be about. As anderson indicated there is a lot of blame to go around. One of the points that i have made is i believe the governor of this state should understand that his dereliction of duty was irresponsible. He should resign.
