June 4, 2021 Sonoma County has approved grant funding for vegetation management projects. The Board of Supervisors approved nearly $4 million in grants to fund 20 projects that aim to reduce wildfire risk. The funding will come from the PG&E settlement that was given to the county from the 2017 Sonoma Complex Fires lawsuit. Officials selected the 20 projects out of nearly 90 applicants. Quick Links

April 26, 2021 Sonoma County will be distributing grant money that addresses vegetation management. As the wildfire season draws closer, the county announced a vegetation management grant program. Officials will distribute between two and four-million dollars to nonprofits, local organizations, and local fire districts.
