Missing at reagan national airport in the d.c. area. the federal aviation administration has actually hired thousands of new controllers. a 2010 faa report says 7,000 just in the past five years. that brings levels up to more than 15,000. and in the last decade flight volume has fallen by 21%. the faa say its not expected to return to those levels in the near term, though flight frequency will increase. some on capitol hill are questioning costs in light of calls to hire more controllers. transp...
