(Reuters) - International Business Machines Corp said on Wednesday its cybersecurity unit has uncovered more digital attacks targeting the global COVID-19 vaccine supply chain since the issue was originally flagged late last year.
The cloud services provider said it recently found that the phishing campaign has targeted 44 more companies which are involved in the complex logistical work of distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in 14 countries.

MOSCOW, April 16 (Reuters) - Russia will ask 10 U.S. diplomats to leave the country in retaliation for Washington’s expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats over alleged election interference and other malign actions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
The U.S. government on Thursday also blacklisted Russian companies and barred U.S. banks from buying sovereign bonds from Russia’s central bank, national wealth fund and Finance Ministry.
Lavrov, speaking at a news conference with his Serbian counterpart, said Moscow was also considering possible “painful” measures aimed at U.S. business in Russia.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States will announce sanctions on Russia as soon as Thursday for alleged election interference and malicious cyber activity, targeting several individuals and entities, people familiar the matter said.

The sanctions, in which 30 entities are expected to be blacklisted, will be tied with orders expelling about 10 Russian officials from the United States, one of the people said.
The White House, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Treasury Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
