Gamasutra - A Bloodstained Q&A with Koji Iga Igarashi

); } In a time when so many great metroidvania -style games are on the market (yes, I just used that dreaded portmanteau), it was so refreshing to see something.old come back. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the latest from game design legend Koji Iga Igarashi, the goth-lovin , cowboy hat-wearin former head of all things  Castlevania who left Konami to start the independent studio ArtPlay. Bloodstained (published by 505 Games) is a spiritual successor to 1997 s PlayStation game  Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Gamasutra - Epic submits claims against Google and Apple to UK Competition Appeal Tribunal

Epic submits claims against Google and Apple to UK Competition Appeal Tribunal ); } Epic Games is taking both Apple and Google to the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) over their decision to remove Fortnite from their respective platforms.  In claims submitted to CAT in December last year, which have only just surfaced, Epic alleges that both Apple and Google abused their dominant position in the iOS and Android app distribution market by unfairly restricting competition and reserving to [themselves] the sole payment processing mechanism for purchases of in-app content. It also claims both companies used their market position to charge unfair prices for the distribution of apps, adding that each firm has engaged in anti-competitive agreements/concerted practices in the UK and EU.
