Code Coven, the first global award-winning game development accelerator for underrepresented talent, is hosting a free, one-day conference on their Twitch channel to celebrate alumni and their projects on Saturday February 20th, 2021.
In 2020 alone, Code Coven supported over 100 marginalised game developers, over 70% of whom identify as female and over 70% of whom identify as BIPOC.
Modern Magicks will consist of curated talks from alumni on a variety of topics related to game development and the industry as well as a separate showcase highlighting some of the work developed by individuals and teams during Code Coven’s courses and programs.
