Sparked wildfire. Weve only seen one Lightning Strike so far here at the airport tonight. Some of the most dramatic lightning is taking place along the peninsula and along the coastline. The dazzling light may be fun to watch but it is causing serious concern for firefighters. Thats why calfire is being particularly aggressive in reacting to every report of a Lightning Strike. We had just started an interview with calfire pilot bob velez when he had to cut it short. There was a threat of a fire. All i know when they hollered at them, where are we going .
