SHAH ALAM: Singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and her husband Datuk Seri Khalid Mohammad Jiwa were compounded RM10,000 each for failing to adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOPs) during the tahnik ceremony for their second child early this month.
Selangor police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said police also issued compounds of RM2,000 each to Minister in the Prime Minister s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, preachers Ustaz Azhar Idrus, Ustaz Don Daniyal and Ustaz Iqbal, as well as Khalid s three children.

SEREMBAN: Entrepreneur and celebrity Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor and her husband, Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail (pic), pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court here with violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) at a carpet shop early this month.
The charges against them were read out before Magistrate Mahyun Yusoff.
Muhammad Haris, 26 was charged with two counts of failing to comply with the CMCO SOP, which were for failing to wear the face mask and also scan the MySejahtera application or write his name in the registration book to check-in at Kedai Naeem Carpet Sdn Bhd, Kawasan Perindustrian Nilai 3, Nilai, at 4pm last May 2.

SEREMBAN: Celebrity Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor and her husband, Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail, will be charged at the Magistrate’s Court here today with defying the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) standard operating procedures (SOP).
Nilai Police chief Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the couple would be charged under Regulation 19 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within Infected Local Area) (Conditional Movement Control) No.4) (Amendment) (No.12) Regulations 2021).
He said Muhammad Haris would face two charges, namely for failing to scan the MySejahtera QR Code or to register manually to check in to a business premises in Nilai earlier this month and for not wearing a face mask at a public place as required under the CMCO SOP.
