It was around 7 50 last night. Somebody called the Santa Clara Sheriffs Office to the home on titus to do a welfare check on the man. Whoever made the call had not seen or heard from him for weeks and wanted to make sure he was okay. The Sheriffs Office tells us they tried to make contact with him. Knocking on the windows and doors. For almost an hour. After 50 minutes the deputies made entry into the back of the house and thats when the man pointed a gun at the deputies.
