Medfield s historic Clark Tavern to be replicated by MacCreadys

Wicked Local MEDFIELD – This old house stands at the crossroads of revolution, a way station for generations of travelers, a place connected to some of Medfield’s leading citizens. It may not stand much longer. After several years of negotiations, plans and more plans, the Clark Tavern at 355-357 Main St. quietly awaits its fate. According to the March newsletter published by the Medfield Historical Society, developers Dave and Rob MacCready of Open Space Builders currently plan to replicate the tavern. This would include disassembling the tavern, recreating its exterior appearance “and, where possible, reuse elements such as wide plank flooring, timbers, wainscoting and the arched carved beams in the ballroom.”
