A deadly accident in Suffolk County is being blamed on black ice. Police say an s. U. V. Lost control and slammed into a Suffolk County transit bus on montauk hay just before 7 00 a. M. The s. U. V. Driver was pronounced dead on the scene. No passengers were on the bus. Southampton police say this was one of 17 accidents caused by black ice over an eighthour period.
