Madison says this will never failed to render federal measures he comes to a conclusion what needs to be done, you need a system that can operate by law not by recommendations. Then you can have much Greater National government that functions more like a russian like a functioning government. It needs to have an independent legisl...

Professor rakove the subtitle is myths about the elections and we will go into those. Lets talk about the myths. Madisons role as the agenda maker for the convention, and the particular point i want to make, as madison prepares himself, i think the key item he worked on in his agenda is the idea that a system of federalism, with the recommendations, the resolutions, the requisitions came from the Continental Congress, was never going to work. When he reasons this, he does this in an empirical wa...

Federal judiciary was one of the first things the congress had to do. I am donald richie, the senate historian. Im pleased to welcome you to this session. In 2009, the associations for the center of the association of the study of congress, which housed the records of senators and representatives decided we needed to do something to focus National Attention on congress. Not on the political side of congress, not on the current battles of congress, but on the institution of congress as a represen...

After the events of ukraine unfold...

A single party fraudulent Impeachment Process deployed against the president like the one being used against donald trump. Thats whats unprecedented here. Its not the claim that a president doesnt want to turn over witnesses or documents. That as we said many times today is actually quite common. By the way, lets remember, noted again, President Trump has consistently cooperated with this congress in fulfilling its oversight and investigation responsibilities. I noticed the statistics this morni...
