A man accused of roles in three killings, including two he allegedly was hired for, had his bond set at $3 million Wednesday.
During an arraignment in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, Carl Godfrey's attorney described Godfrey, 21, as "an up and coming adult film star."
His attorney, Brandon Fox, did not elaborate or explain further. He entered a not guilty plea on Godfrey's behalf.
Godfrey is one of four men charged in what prosecutors have described as a series of connected killings. Officials also have charged a 14-year-old boy in two of those killings as well as two others.
Godfrey and two of the other men charged appeared Wednesday before Common Pleas Judge Jody Luebbers for arraignments.

Cincinnati Police Investigations Bureau Commander Lt. Col. Lisa Davis and Homicide Unit Commander Lt. David Johnston spoke to the press to discuss what they called a "reign of terror" that left four dead and three wounded.
On Wednesday, Carl Godfrey, Jason Gray, Mario Gordon, Conn Inabnitt and an unnamed 14-year-old were indicted with prosecutors saying Godfrey was hired to kill targets in two of the shootings.
Due to the ongoing investigation, they declined to offer many details, but they did offer some insights into the case.
Davis said she would not necessarily characterize the situation as a murder-for-hire plot adding that there were other elements that made it more complicated than that. She and Johnston also said this was not gang activity in the traditional sense.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Four adults and a teen have been indicted on charges in what officials described Thursday as âtargetedâ murders.
The four killings happened between Jan. 31 and Feb. 18, according to the Hamilton County Prosecutorâs Office.
According to Deters, someone hired Carl Godfrey to kill Campbell. The prosecutor says Godfrey and Jason Gray went to where Campbell was staying in Avondale and shot him.
North and another person were inside a vehicle in Fairmount on Feb. 1 when the teen started shooting at them, according to a news release from the prosecutorâs office. The other victim survived, but North died.

CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) — Four adults and a juvenile have been charged with killing four people in the first two months of the year for money and revenge, authorities said
Hamilton County prosecutors said Wednesday that 21-year-old Carl Godfrey and 18-year-old Jason Gray are charged with multiple counts of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault, among other charges.
Facing one count of aggravated murder, multiple murder counts and other charges are 30-year-old Mario Gordon, 49-year-old Conn Inabnitt and a teenager whose name wasn’t released.
Prosecutors allege that Godfrey was hired to murder one man, and he and Gray did so in January. They allege that he was hired to kill someone else in February and sent Gray, Gordon and the youth to do so, and they killed someone other than the intended target, wounding two others.
