Farmers have gathered at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to extend support to wrestlers, who are staging a sit-in protest against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Singh and demanding his arrest following the allegations of sexual harassment.
The farmers who arrived in the national capital from various states to express solidarity with the protesting grapplers at Jantar Mantar on Monday climbed the barricades put up in the area to reach the protest site, Delhi Police said.
The wrestlers have been protesting for over 10 days, demanding action against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over allegations of sexual harassment.
