Sixty area artists, musicians, filmmakers and others will use their talents in the coming months to educate the public on issues like public health, civic engagement, climate change and social justice.

The Women’s Museum of California has received what officials called a "transformative" $300,000 grant from the Conrad Prebys Foundation. 

Residents in San Diego and Imperial counties soon will begin seeing the work of artists focused on bringing awareness to the region's most urgent issues.
