AFTER the disappointment of the 2020 season, the annual Tulip Festival at Constable Burton Hall gardens will go ahead once again this weekend. With more than 6,000 tulips of over 100 different varieties planted amongst the formal and woodland gardens, organisers say this is the most spectacular time to visit the gardens, near Leyburn. A spokesperson for the event said: There are exciting new themed planting schemes to be revealed this year in the borders and Bloms Bulbs, winner of 68 Chelsea Gold Medals, will present their superb collection of award winning flowers in a stunning display of cut flowers in the Festival Lawn Marquees.
