Jet Hill will try to make it three-for-three in Ohio Sires Stake action Tuesday (July 4) at Eldorado Scioto Downs as sophomore colt trotters wrap up the third leg with two $55,000 divisions.

The final day of racing at Miami Valley Raceway will mark the opening of the 2023 Ohio Sires Stakes action.

Heavy favourites Bythemissal and Sea Silk did not disappoint as they rolled to victory to capture $300,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championships Saturday night (October 1) at Dayton Raceway.

It was a night to be a favourite in the opening leg of Ohio Sires Stakes action for two-year-old colt and gelding trotters.  John Dutton, Rumble Strips and Black Magic were winners in the three divisions at MGM Northfield Park Monday night. 

Northfield Park hosted a total of nine $40,000 divisions of Ohio Sires Stakes (OHSS) for 2-year-old pacing colts and fillies on Saturday night (July 10) at Northfield Park, with multiple national season’s records broken and set. Secret Side Piece began the night with a bang, winning the first OHSS division for fillies in 1:53.3, a national season’s record for driver Mike Wilder. The daughter of Downbytheseaside is conditioned by Todd Luther for Black Magic Racing and upped her earnings to $...
